Hello guys and gals, new to the forum but not charcoal cooking. After years of superstore cheap grills/smokers I recently picked up a 22" kettle. Excited to learn more about it. Have already had a couple slow sessions with the grill with a whole chicken and 1.5" thick pork steaks but am fighting heat issues and came here to figure them out.
 
Hi Ben, I'm new here too. Get a question up in the proper forum and these guys and gals will have you rolling in knowledge in no time! You'll love your kettle!
