Hello from CA

Hi all.
My name is Andy and I like to cook outdoor.
I have been lurking here for a while to learn how to cook better
I live in Danville Ca and Sequim Wa.
I don’t have any special set ups or fancy out door kitchens like the ones I’ve seen on the internet.
For the most part I just Q on dirt or a smallish deck.

My “go to“ cookers are a Weber performer and a simple mastercraft smoker.

So this is me and I’m glad to be here.

Thanks.
Andy.

Hi Andy,

Welcome. I'm a couple of hours east of you.

I'm fairly new here, and so far its a great resource.

Welcome to the Forum Andy!
How about some pics of your Q.
Click on the portrait icon above next to the 3 dots and drop the pics in they will show up better.

Your setup @Bruce McClure is about the same as mine. I just do not have the table. It works that is all that matters. Only difference is I have some 12" x 12" paver stones under my grill.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
I also appreciate the advice to the questions I have asked.

So about my set up,
I have 2 Weber Performers one is a deluxe.
1 vertical smoker that I use for salmon.
2 hibachi’s.
1 camp fire grill that I welded up.
1 gas grill with 4 burners and a small cooktop.

I really want to get a 22” Weber Smokey Mountain so I will add one soon if I can swing it.

We live in the East Bay Area and soon (upon retirement) to be full-time up in Washington.
In the East Bay I cook on dirt because the lawn died long ago.
In Washington we keep a smallish deck and can’t put to many things on it because it would block the view.

I fit and weld pipe for a living and like to do the outdoor thing so I’m a simple guy.
The wife said not to post pics because most people don’t have our view.
