Hi Rich,
The only way to hang ribs in a WSM is if you have two middle chambers stacked together. They interlock and it works well. You gotta get the meat up higher when hanging so the heat is a little more even. If you tried to hang 'em in a single chamber the ribs would be partially laying in the 'sand pan' and the temp difference between the top of the ribs and the bottom would be a real pain.
