A person who works that hard flat out deserves every bit of fame he has garnered! I would LOVE to try some of his brisket but Texas is a LONG walk from Ohio:rolleyes:.

Chris;
Thanks for sharing that with us! That was a very nice write up.

Keep on smokin',

Aaron is a great dude. Great story and humble as can be from what I have heard. More importantly he has been an inspiration for many. There is a BBQ spot near my named Corkscrew BBQ that is following the same blueprint. A husband and wife team started as a BBQ trailer, now they are an outdoor restaurant with plans to build a building soon. Great to see something I have such passion for blowing up in the mainstream.

Wait a minute. So what are we supposed to answer on this site when someone asks how long it takes to cook a brisket, 15 or 16 hours? Imagine the bandwidth savings.

He is going to get his own TV show. He also has a handful of videos on you tube for you to watch. When I went there the line was way to long at 10:30 so I missed out. Chris you ate there didn't you?

It might be some great stuff but for me, nothing is worth standing in line for a couple of hours for.

I think its odd how they never mention that he worked at John Muellers place before starting up his own spot. Hell when John ran into trouble and started selling off equipment Aaron even bought his smokers from John and thats what he used to start his own business. Mueller is back in business now and although his spot isn't as popular as Aarons its still some great BBQ and there are usually little to no lines.

Chris, thanks for the thread and the link. Mache thanks for the PBS link, it is very good.
