Foodsaver v3460C

Is this model any good. I recieved one from my wife and kids for my birthday today, and before we used it, we wanted to make sure that it was good enough for what we wanted to use it for.

We usually do one or two pigs a year, so it wouldn't be used every day, however when it is in use, we will use it a lot.

Well, there are a lot of reviews on the new upright Foodsaver vacuum packers available on the web and most of them aren't all that positive. In fact, I went over to visit a neighbor to see his Foodsaver 3xxx model and he had just sent it back because it had failed after less than 1 year.

I was on the cusp of buying a Foodsaver 3xxx when I stumbled upon the VacUpack. I ordered it late last week and expect it to arrive on Thursday.
