First Time - Genesis 1000LX

Taking on my first restoration project. Found a Weber 1000 in reasonable condition, not quite as good as I thought once I got it apart, but a couple of questions...
1) The supply line/regulator has a quick connector. Rather than buy an adaptor, I'd prefer to just replace the line. I assume I can do so using the standard connector with no issues?
2) Burners are in decent shape, but I am going to replace them anyway. Does buying "Genuine Weber Parts" make much of a difference in 2020, or can I just buy the off brands on Amazon?

Thanks.

One more question as it relates to the supply hose...Since the manifold has a female receptacle, I assume I could simply add a 3/8 x 3/8 male nipple adapter with no problem?

Thanks again.
Not sure if it's the same part, but I needed to get the hose in the below link for my old Spirit 500 restore with the female receptacle on my manifold. Has been working fine - wrapped the threads in teflon tape and leak checked before using.

Found all parts necessary at Home depot. they have regulators for 20 bucks. You need to have the regulator with you to guaranty you got the right adapters. As a side note, thrift stores garage sales are great places to pick up parts barbecues. Unfortunately I end op restoring those to. It's a sickness.
