Hi All,
I just fully built my heater-meter and was able to flash it today and boot it up. it connects to my wifi, however, all of the temperature readings are consistently high. The probe temperatures are sitting around 42-43 degrees and the thermistor is 431 degrees. I am happy to share any information I can and appreciate any troubleshooting recommendations!
Power supply: if relevant, while I'm testing it I'm still powering it from the USB 5V power supply on the Pi that is plugged into a wall outlet
Board: HeaterMeter 4.3.6 Kit w/ Alternate Regulator × 1 w/ thermocouple
thermocouple: Perfect Prime TL0500, K-Type Sensor probe (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0142SKL0Y/?tag=tvwb-20)
T
temp probe (1/2/3): Maverick Genuine Replacement Food Probe 3 Ft for ET-73, ET-7 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004W8B3PC/?tag=tvwb-20)
Screenshot 1: how my high temperatures look
Screenshot 2: close up of my solder work
Screenshot 3: close up of my solder work (another photo)
Screenshot 3: close up of the other side of the board
Thanks all!
Rory
