Next Saturday Dec 14th, 24 teams will compete at the Maurice Car'rie winery in Temecula, CA.
This will be the very first of hopefully many Harry Soo Groovin BBQ Backyard Cookoffs.

Wish I could make it. But I have to work. I already took a week of on thanksgiving weekend. By the time I get there it will be close to 6

My sincere hope is that Harry will use the same judging organizer for his NorCal event. Ben did a wonderful job this Saturday. His methods stressed excellent interaction between the teams and the judges. It was indeed a great learning experience for both ! As well as Very Enjoyable Saturday event !!! A Big Congratulations to all teams ! I must say... If any of those teams go pro next year (and hopefully some or all do )... It's going to be one heck of a BBQ Year !!!
