Feast of St. Patrick (translated)

As the Feast Day was mid week and there would have been significant difficulties arranging it to happen then, I exercised my Anglican practice of translating the Feast to the following Saturday...today!!!
So about nine pounds of beeves, two of Brussels sprouts, one of carrots, three of potatoes one head of cabbage, two of butter, one soda bread loaf and adult beverages with whatever softer things anyone felt like.

These have gotten a bit out of sequence but, after the second frame, who cares!🥳
Now, relaxing by the fire... outside!92B675EC-5742-4C6B-8B56-B63C5D549496.jpeg

Awesome spread, Timothy! I had to look beeves up the other day, as I didn't know that was a term (it is.) :) I say celebrate the Feast of St Patrick whenever you like! Put food out like that, and you'll have plenty of takers every time! ;)

Rich, I have spent way too much time watching and reading “Westerns” that’s where one learns some pretty obscure information yes, the plural of beef (as in cattle) is beeves.
Joan, this was just for the six of us, sent some with the kids. It blew my blood sugar to the moon but, it was a great dinner. Today, I have a little more clean up to do but, I did most last night before going to bed.
Went to bed after enjoying the fire for a while.
