Well, after a few days my Edimax EW-7811Un wireless died, won't light up or anything. Any thoughts on this adapter vs others? Should i get another one or switch to something different?

Doh! I have two of these Edimax adapters and one Rosewill RNX-MiniN2 (which apparently they don't make any longer) all three of which work. My original Edimax is still working and it runs nearly 24/7. It is possible you just got a defective unit, I mean they're only $10 I'm sure the quality control isn't too great. Is it still under warranty? Send it back! I bet that will cost $10 just in shipping. Such is the problem with dirt cheap electronics.

Yeah, 10.49 to ship it back for an RMA, 9.99 for new...... I'll probably just get another one based on your experience. Thanks for the input.
