E-435 Wheel Modification

I have a new E-435, not impressed by both the small casters and the large wheels. Has anyone done modification for these ?
Was thinking about having someone fabricate a piece that would fit into the legs that would allow for a heavy duty caster to be mounted.

I have seen people mount rubber tires on an axle. You can get small rubber tires at HF for about $5 each.
