I picked up my first Weber for $45 last weekend and posted about it in another thread, and a member informed me that a part is missing and suggested I post here.

It’s missing the lid bale, and looking to replace, unfortunately the part is currently unavailable from Weber.

Checking to see if anyone might have one...thanks!

You want Weber 65188, made for Performers 2015 - present. They permit the lid to open at nearly 90*. They are hard to find because of the current situation and because it's the one everyone wants. Good luck! Be patient.

Get the new lid bale that Ed linked. It'll fit your Performer without any modifications. And it's way better than the original one that came with your grill.

I’m pretty lucky to have a some very talented friends that love to eat! I don’t have a wood shop, my banjo player does! He’s been one of my best friends for almost 50 years, fine cabinetmaker! He’s done myriad projects for me over the years, most of them he has only accepted dinner or lunch feasts as payment on anything that’s grill party related.
I pay him for home improvement stuff.
