CI seared scallops with roasted red pepper & tomato sauce Angel hair pasta

I used to dive for rock scallops in the Channel Islands.
I ate them raw underwater plenty of times during my dives.
They taste better than lobster to me.
My dumb butt never considered pairing up scallops with pasta.
That looks gorgeous.
Duh!

Looks great! :) The news said the weather was kind of wicked out your way.
This winter has been impossible to survive. I’ve never seen so much rain. And it’s been 50° since November. I hate this cold and rain. DONE with it!

Our BBQ Weather today in Costa Rica :p
thank. we have sun today and the forecast is beginning to clear. and temps will finally break 62F this coming week and next. i'm pretty sure we had a record rainfall year and snowpack too. we needed it here in the west. but i think we have 25+ atmospheric rivers hit our region since December.

I think 2022/23 will end up #2 all time when all aspects are measured.

And, the rainy weather has taken a bite out of my solar generation this year with a 50% drop in March over last year.

i just pulled my very local weather for the past few months. It's been quite cold, compared to historical data.

It's been ~50F since November and rainy. i never voted to live in Seattle. this has been an insane winter here.

at least we will hit higher 60/near 70 this coming week. FINALLY!!!!

Tasty looking grub.....I always try to sear as hot as possible for scallops and its difficult to get a real dark great sear....but they always taste awesome.
If you think the weather is bad now, wait and see the difficulties I am expecting the farmers in the area to have this year which could result in a poor crop this year.....no good.

Looks tasty!

Did you use male or female scallops?

I already know the answer but want to see if anyone else does.
