Chuck Roast & Salmon

As I’m in between jobs yet again (I hate being freelance), I decided to fire up the old offset and let the WSM rest a spell. I cooked up a chuck roast, some salmon and some sausages for lunch. The roast will be pulled, sealed in foodsaver bags and eaten later as will the salmon. The sausage isn’t anything special, just mustard and a whole bunch of sauerkraut.

Looks great from the middle of the country too. I love a chuck roast, and I think I now prefer it over brisket for my beef BBQ. A couple weekends ago I did a big one, like 9 pounds, and we made some naan(indian flat bread) to go with it, and it was pretty awesome.
