Chuck Eyes are my favorite cut and there's no better way to cook them, but on the Santa Maria over seasoned Oak

Two things you have to do: 1) Get Chuck Eyes 2) Cook them over Oak on a Santa Maria

Gorgeous steaks! Have 1) will make 2). 1) probably cooked a few times before 2) gets finished.

That's a nice yard you have. I like the night lighting.

Great looking meal there Chuck. Those steaks look really nice. I've been shying away from Food Maxx meats (except chicken) up here. They are just too unpredictable with regard to quality. Their beef is always Select. Unless we go to Costco, we've been buying most of our meat at Winco. They're carrying more and more Choice grades to choose from. I don't see your SM anywhere near your new fence. Has it been banished to a new location or was it possibly death threats from your neighbor? :)

Those steaks look great Chuck. Barb and I really like them but unfortunately very seldom available here. Told Barb we should get a Santa Maria grill and Barb told me "NO you'll burn the fence down". Never seen a block wall fence burn...oh well.

Food Maxx is hit or miss here too. But they are the only place you can get Chuck Eyes, and I've never had a bad Chuck Eye from there. We do most our grocery shopping at Winco, they're good quality, but not a lot of selection. My Santa Maria is on the other side of the yard, by the fence that really needs to burn down....It could happen :)

Tell her your fence is safe, unless I'm grilling...

I'm reminded of a joke - McGregor the Bridge builder :)

Sorry if I missed it (first saw your post this morning) but how'd you cook them - coated in oil & SPOG? I'll have to get some more CESs.
