Char Siu (Chinese BBQ Pork) / Singapore Noodle

Costco ran a special on pork butt a few weeks ago so I've been making char siu the past few weekends following this recipe. Yesterday I cooked the pork butt strips on my smoker @250F for 2.5 hours.

The taste is bit on the salty side due to the hoisin sauce so it doesn't match the flavor you get from Chinese BBQ stores which has a nice balance of sweet and salty. But the texture is very good. I then sliced up the roast pork and made Singapore Noodles (rice sticks with stir fried vegetables, roast pork and curry). Enjoy!
