Anyone try Mulberry for Smoke Wood?

Trimmed out some fairly thick, low-hanging branches at my Mom's place.

Cut the small stuff off and have enough wood for about 2-3 smokes.
Most fruit and nut woods are supposed to work.
Seems softish/ wondering if anyone else has tried it and if so, what'd you think of the results?

It's a good wood. Mild, similar to apple. I've used it on chicken and pork, nice sweet smell.

Thanks for the replies,

Looks like I'm going to have to let this stuff dry-out a bit, and then give it a try.
Sometime later this year my brother and I will be cutting down two medium sized Apple trees, so I expect to have a near-lifetime supply of that...

I need to get "chummy" with an apple farmer! And a cherry farmer! Peach, pear, grape, all grow around here in great bounty!

Plenty of apple and peach around here, not so much with cherry. Lots of pecan trees too, but my last attempt with limbs from my yard resembled pee-can (yuck).

I'll have to look into mulberry.
