Anybody carrying a SMALL wallet?

The leather bifold wallet I've been carrying for many years is now held together with electrical tape and super glue, so I'm starting to think that maybe it's time to look into replacing it (no sense rushing into things).

Empty and folded it's about 4" by 2-3/4" and I'd really like to find something similar as it's important to not detract from the moneymaker.;) I do have a nice wallet I received as a gift a long time ago and I thought about using it, but the dimensions are greater and it's larger than I want to carry. I've been poking around online and have come across some options but I also don't want to pay more than I would for a month of groceries.

Is anyone carrying a smaller, relatively affordable wallet that they're happy with?

I switched to a Ridge wallet in 2019 and haven't looked back. I use the cash strap under an Apple Air tag which works well for up to 4 or 5 bills. If you typically carry more than that you may want to look at other options.

Check out Rogue. Made in Maine and they have some unique options.
I bought this one about 5 years ago.

I switched from my “George Costanza” to a thin front pocket style wallet about 5 years ago, it’s so much better! I went with the Code 118 model, I love it! It holds up to around seven cards which are accessed by sliding the lever on the bottom. It comes with an elastic strap for cash or there is an optional money clip available. I did get the optional modular backplate for storing my driver’s license, medical cards etc.

Been happy with this one. It’ll only last a few years though. I have mine two years now and can see it shredding next or the year after. Considering I use and travel with it daily, the cost/performance ratio is fine with me.

I picked up a couple of “Bufway minimalist” wallets a few years back, cards and drivers license, carry cash in the old trusty binder clip! All carried in front pocket. If I’m wearing a suit, the coat pocket carries a more “formal” wallet if necessary and the other side either damned phone or cigarette case.
I have a pretty hefty EDC inventory which seems to increase with every available pocket! Nope, I doubt I could stay above water if I fall in, I truly pray it’s not wearing a suit, I’ll drop like a stone!
If it’s in winter? The extra weight of additional pocket crap will be my downfall!
I’ll pray all the way to the bottom!🤔

I had a Trayvax metal wallet for several years. It held all of my cards and some cash and didn’t hurt while sitting on it
The downside was if I didn’t open it op to take the credit/debit card for payment, it’d chew up the chips and give me a fit at the register
I found a leather bifold wallet on Amazon a couple years ago. Holds all of my cards securely and has a clip for my cash. It’s comfortable to sit on and is still in great shape

I’m in need of another wallet and I’m ignorant on this.
I usually find mine at craft fairs but they seldom carry what I want.

I don’t like large wallets and the ones that are really small seem easy to lose.
I carry about 6-8 cards with about the same in greenbacks and prefer leather.
Can anyone recommend a thin leather one that they like

I guess I could try Amazon and return if I didn’t like it but that’s sort of a drag and a long drive for me.

One thing that has saved my butt a couple times was having my first name and cell # printed on it with a sharpie.

I have had this wallet (link below) since 2019. It holds 8 cards which is enough for me. It is slim and can fit in a front pocket or a rear jean pocket.

Unfortunately it is no longer avail on azn and I've been looking for another.

Dan -- I've since switched over to a smaller format front pocket card case.

But for years, I carried this wallet from J Peterman (insert Seinfeld joke here). It looks to be about the same size as your old one. I LOVED it -- made out of the same leather as all of the baseball gloves I've owned over my lifetime. One sniff and I would be transported back to having a catch*** with my Dad in the backyard.

***I grew up in the northeast, so we always said have a catch. My understanding is that "play catch" is more common in the rest of the country.

There are a lot of similar wallets on Amazon. In fact, the one I currently carry is from there and it is VERY similar to the one you pictured, only a slightly darker color.

I've seen a few yet I am rather picky and haven't found the one that's just right.

I'd like 8 card capacity, all leather no plastic window and a soft, supple leather.

That one is close, however it is only three cards per side, six total. I could probably downsize to six, but sadly they are out of stock.

This is mine. 6 card slots, though I have multiple cards in a few of them with no issues. I don't recall what it was like when I first got it, but it's nice and soft now. Apparently, I've had it since 2017 and it's still holding up well.

I like real leather wallets and I've liked having a trifold for years now. The last two I've had are from Access Denied. They make a nice wallet and are an American company. I just got this one for myself as a Christmas gift. The previous one was still in good shape after 9 years, IMG_20260309_233057774_HDR.jpgIMG_20260309_233236699_HDR.jpgI just wanted a new one. It holds lots of stuff and is still prettyhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CEKG8YG?tag=tvwb-20 compact. The leather is a good quality and smells fantastic.

I've had this for about 6 months and it's starting to wear a little bit, but I only paid $10 for it so I'm ok with that:
Travelambo Slim Wallet Front Pocket Minimalist Leather RFID Blocking Medium Size

Holds 3 cards, maybe 7-8 bills folded over, a drivers license, 3 business cards, and my fishing license. I will never go back to a bi- or tri-fold wallet again. Took me about 3 months to stop checking my back pocket for a wallet (thinking I'd lost it) because it's so slim and now resides in the front pocket (DL replaced with business card for security)
I can tell that my hips and back feel so much better from not sitting on it while driving, that's for sure.
