ABT question

I want to try my first stab at Konrad's Atomic Buffalo Turds. Are the olives to be used in these green or black?

His recipe calls for "stuffed olives", so I'm thinking standard green w/pimentos.

For us green olives have way more flavor. But there is no right or wrong anwer here. I saw ABT's served like miniture ice cream cones with the cone being the wrapped bacon and the ice cream the cream cheese filling they were cooked in a tray holding them standing up. I think the cook had been reading the French Laundry cook book /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks Konrad, those ABT's were a hit at the party!!1 they gobbled them up in a flash. I didnt see your message til after but usetd the green olives and the ABT's really tasted great.
