About Jamie Purviance, author of Weber's Charcoal Grilling: The Art of Cooking with Live Fire.

Chef and writer Jamie Purviance is a leading expert in outdoor cooking and the author of three best-selling cookbooks: Weber's Art of the Grill, Weber's Big Book of Grilling, and Weber's Real Grilling.

Jamie is a certified judge on the barbecue circuit and teaches grilling classes at many prestigious cooking schools across the country.

He writes for many national magazines and newspapers, such as Bon Appetit, Sports Illustrated, Town & Country Travel, and the Los Angeles Times. He has inspired millions to pick up the tongs through appearances on Today, The Early Show, Good Morning America, FOX & Friends, and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
