2003 Genesis Silver B lid question

Just picked up a 2004 Genesis Silver B off of nextdoor cheap.

Cleaned up nice. Just power washed the firebox and did the other usual cleaning. (thanks to all the great advice here)

Got nice new QuliMetal SS grates.

But the lid has that haze/fading on it. Can much be done with that?

If not what models lids are compatible?

Greg, the Weber black lid haze is a problem that has no real solution. YOu can hide it to a degree, but it will come back. It seems to happen almost exclusively to black lids...and control panels. But any Genesis 1000 lid or Silver/Gold/Platinum B or C lid will fit it perfectly.. that leaves you with a bunch of donor grills to choose from. Basically any Genesis 3 burner grill from the mid 80's through 2005.
