This brochure for Weber Garden Lites is hard to read, but you get a sense of what the product is about. It's also mentioned on page 11 of the 1955 Weber Bros Cooking With Magic Weber Bar-B-Q Kettle Brochure:

"Weber Electric Garden Lites beautify patios, gardens, and walks with indirect lighting. Spike and base models plug into any outlet. Approved by Underwriters."

I see the torch on ebay. Has anyone found the electric lite anywhere online, and have any of you ever seen one?

Wow, what a fascinating glimpse into mid-century design and innovation! The Weber Garden Lites sound like a perfect blend of functionality and style for outdoor spaces of the 1950s. Anyway, that thing looks a lot like my outdoor propane heater. I have to wonder if the original idea came from an old Weber ad.
