13 Bar Red Head Genesis

I am looking at a 1995 Red Head Genesis and it showing 13 flavor bars. I had seen on here in passing a reference to the 13 bar units but not sure when they were made. Not sure if this is a one year only. The grill is super clean and I am picking it up tomorrow afternoon. Thinking this was a good deal at $50. Thanks.

I believe the last year was 1999 and the 13 bar started with the first genesis in 1985. I have three of them a 1998 I bought new and I'm guessing a 1999 skyline and a 1985 Geneses 2. Great cookers.
If it's clean and complete that was a very good price.

Make sure the frame on the left side of the fire box isn't all rusted out. Make sure the front top edge of the firebox isn't bowed outward. Those are two common problems that people run into and not easy to fix.
