Plastic vs. SS Performer Bowl

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the kettles from the new performers with plastic tables will fit into the old stainless steel performer frame and how much, if any, modification it takes? I've read the threads and watched some videos on putting regular kettles in. I just can't find a thread that answers this question.

Thanks,
John

Bowl should be the same (all based on the 22.5” kettle format) so if it’s a performer bowl with the mounting brackets and not the basic bowl, I believe it shouldn’t take more than twenty minutes and two frosty beverages!

Actually Tim is wrong, it well only take one frosty beverage to change it and one to admire your work. Well maybe two to change it and another to admire your work depending on how fast you consume your frosty beverage.:D

I agree that the brackets are the same and so can be lifted out and transfered. Some of the newer Performers don’t have gas assist, so while those will also transfer they don’t have the opening for a gas assist.
