Hello From Newfoundland, Canada

I found the forum recently and have been creeping for a few days. Some great ideas so far and I look forward to reading some posts for new ideas and opinions.

I have a 6-7 year old Weber Genesis propane grill and a 3 year old Weber Original Kettle and have been using the Kettle more and more recently. Modified the kettle to add a Weber grate with side openings, picked up a set of GrillGrates, added an ash can and a Weber thermometer to the cover. I use the gas grill for quick meals like hots and hams for the kids, but enjoy kicking back smelling charcoal and wood chunks on the kettle.

The wife and kids gave me a Boos Board and iGrill 2 for Christmas and I used some Christmas money from the parents and in-laws to build a cart for the kettle. I was hoping to use it this weekend, but the forecast is for 70 cm (28 inches) of snow and 140 kph winds between now and Saturday so the grills have been parked in favor of the snowblower. I might post some pics if I get to try out the new cart setup Saturday evening.

Posting from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada where we are in the middle of a severe winter storm with 75cm (30 inches) of snow forecast with 140 kph (85 mph) winds so States of Emergency declared for all major cities giving us a day off work.

Been working on the Weber kettle cart today to add the ash can and remount it. I used a BBQ Cart plan from Jen Woodhouse's design website as the basis for my design and happy with the outcome. Not too imposing, but all the storage and working space I need.

Welcome Jeff! I have a car that was built in St. Johns. It is sleeping in the garage until Spring.
I use my Webers year round though.
