Well I've finally done it.

I "ordered" a Tesla cybertruck - dual motor with full self-driving.

I can't imagine spending this much on a vehicle, so this might just be a $100 refundable deposit.

Well Clint, I’m really hoping you don’t have any rock chips!
If you can make it work the way you can cook, you will be impressing many folks!

Maybe my truck will become self driving some day....when they pry my cold dead fingers off the steering wheel.

It looks like it could be very interesting. Will you get the 4 wheel drive version? Looks like it could be very interesting with a "Tesla" camper as well.

That's what I picked - have to have 4x4 to get up our canyons in the winter. 4x4, 2 motor, full self driving, 4.5 second from 0-60mph, 300 mile range.

it's been fun to think about! I have a little exp w/ hybrids (prius & lexus 4x4 of friends/family)...........my opinion on hybrids is they're not worth it. My cousin just sold a leaf which only had an 80 mile range...........definitely not acceptable to me.

I only know biz/associate w / a model 3, he seems to like it but I didn't even ask to sit in it or go for a ride. I really have no idea how I'll react to the E car. I have 220V available near my garage, I could even run a new dedicated line. Solar would be best, but when I replaced my roof it would have cost >10x (I paid $6000 for my roof & did ~half of it myself, the tesla solar roof w/ everything would've come to >$70,000 for what I wanted...2 power walls & max solar panels).

I heard about this just the other day:
