    So, how easy will it be....

    to get a replacement piece for this older Weber Genesis Silver grill. It apparently blew
    over in a wind storm and one of the hinges broke off.
    any guess as to the price and availability of these? Thanks, Jon

    Are you talking about the lid hinges?

    Yes, it's one of the hinges that's broken off the lid. Sorry, I tried to post a picture of it but...

    Jon, you best bet is to find a donor grill to steal one from. BUying a new one is going to cost more than the grill is worth. You can probably find a cub pickup for free if you are patient and willing to wait. There are a lot of people selling cast away Silver B grills for $50 or less. I bought at least a dozen of them this summer. Any Genesis Silver or Gold B or C grill should have the cook box you are looking for. There are lots of them out there.

    Then you just need an end cap for that side. Even easier. Post a photo of the end cap and if you can't find one, someone here can probably fix you up.
