Turkey Cheeseburgers

For National Cheeseburger day I cooked us up some turkey burgers on the little Smokey Joe. Didn't get any cook shots because it was dumping rain. Its been a wet week here.

Took 1 pound of ground turkey and made two 1/2 pound burger patties. I added ground garlic, onion, salt and pepper into the meat.

If you can find Portland Ketchup in your local market you should buy it. If not grab a bottle off Amazon. It really makes all the other ketchup brands taste bad!

Terrific looking burgers Case! Really like the fixin's too. We usually bring back two or three bottles of the Portland M&K every time we stay up in Southern Oregon.

Thanks Cliff. I've been eating crappy generic ketchup all summer camping. So it was a treat to get to have the good stuff again. Guess I need to save the plastic squeeze bottle from the crappy ketchup and fill it with Portland so I have some for camping too!

WOW!!! Case that's an awesome burger and love all the stuff on it. Like Rich said will have to fine the Portland M & K and give it a try.

I'm not much of a ground turkey person, but those are some great looking burgers.
