Today is National Cheeseburger Day, but we already had smash cheese burgers for dinner last night.
The potato masher is to put extra force on the spatula to smash the patties super thin.

Perfect looking Smashers Bob! I recently bought a spatula specifically for smash burgers. It's more like a chisel and is as stout as I've seen. I liked the fact that the blade is 5" in width.

Looks Tasty. I use my cast iron bacon press for smashing. I can smash two 1/3# burgers at once.

With "Three" National Hamburger days May 28th, July 28th and December 21st. The Cheeseburger isn't getting the recognition it deserves with only one day!
