Cicada emerges

Took this pic a few weeks ago. Happened to catch a cicada shortly after it emerged from it's shell. It didn't stick around long. Happy I was able to catch a quick pic.

Thank you, Bob! I always enjoy your photos. Hoping to catch an elusive monarch one of these days. I came close yesterday, but my camera battery was toast. :(
 
I'm going to do a little test here. I use Google Photos for my camera and cell pics, but my cell pics don't show up for others unless I move them to Flickr. I now move my camera pics there too.
This Monarch caterpillar was shot with my cell, then posted to FB, and now copied from FB to here, so let's see if it shows up and stays up.

Great looking photo Ed. Love how you captured the old and the new!

Bob, the clarity of that caterpillar just blows my socks off. After looking at some of the stuff I take with my Nikon and then comparing to your cell phone photo, I just want to cry! Outstanding photography, both of you!
