A Few Cooks From This Week

Been so hot that I really don’t like being outside at all right now. But we did do a few cooks. One was a bottom round roast that I did on the E320 with the rotisserie. Came out so much better than just roasting it.
A few plate shots a grilled balsamic marinated boneless skinless chicken breast with a balsamic glaze that was truly outstanding.
Then last night we used the little griddle to make some smashed burgers with homemade fries and again this morning we made a breakfast loco moco on it with hash browns, homemade breakfast sausage a fried egg and country gravy. Good Stuff!

Lots of good eating right there!

Wish I could share with you some of our current weather, it was 62 this morning, high of 80 today, with low humidity. No higher than mid 80's this coming week. Rare for August to be sure.

Boy, that would be heaven to me. This is day 17 of 100+ days in a row. We've lived here 17 years and prior to this summer we haven't had 17 total days of 100+ in the past 16 years. I get up at 5:30 am (old work habits are hard to break) and it's already in the low 80's before the sun comes up. The humidity has been right around 15%, dry as a bone.

It’s cooler than normal here too, has not hit 80 in a week, cool evenings, nice for sleeping!
