First cooks

I have cooked twice on my recently-acquired 18.5" WSM. Both recipes from the Beginner Recipes section on the Virtual Weber Bullet site.
First cook was the Basic Barbecued Chicken recipe and second was basic Baby back Ribs. I followed the recipes and both came out great.
I've been cooking on a 22" Weber Kettle for about a year but I was impressed with how well the WSM maintained an even temperature throughout the cook.

I'm excited and look forward to trying more recipes. Maybe a pork butt next.
 
Just in case you get nervous when you do your first pork butt, remember one very important thing...
Don’t peek! Set it up and let it roll. Patience will be rewarded.
