the ribs were done at 3pm (about 5 hours) and sliced.


slicing the brisket was next... decided to CHOP the beef... mix fat with lean.



timing was spot on.
including the rain. started right about time to eat....
but some folks were comfy outside staying dry...



...while others got the Q.

this guy on the right is a good ol' friend of mine, haven't seen since the late 80's.

the rain eventually ended and we got to socialize a bit in a drier atmostphere....
