    Lid handle on 18.5" WSM

Hey guys, can the handle (not the plastic assembly) actually "warp" or move out of being level? I'd post a couple of pictures to illustrate but doesn't look like I can upload any images. I also have a picture of the WSM and I can see it wasn't always this way. I also would have noticed this when I assembled it (it's only 3 months old).

I just don't see how this could have happened, anyone ever heard of this before?

    Thanks
    Joe

Nope, I have not heard of the handle warping. Most people post their pictures on an image hosting site such as imgur.com.

See this thread for how to do it.

Looks like an impact to me. These metal straps don't warp.

Looks like mine. My dogs knocked it over rough housing.
Take a rubber mallet and massage it back, might need to pry up the horizontal with a piece of wood.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I don't remember it falling over, unless it happened when I wasn't around (no kids though). I'll see if I can shape it back somehow.

Even if you don't get it back in shape, it will still work.

Wasn’t me! I have not been to Texas in a very long time!
It should reshape back to normal with a little coaxing.
