Always showing pit temp - 4.3

Hey all. My new 4.3 build was reading pit temps correctly during initial testing. It is now always showing a pit probe temp, even if there is not one plugged in.

The only thing I changed was unplugging a thermoworks probe and wiping/re-imaging the sd card so that it would connect to a different WiFi. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like your pit probe might be set to the wrong type. Check the webui and make sure it is set to:
    Type: Thermistor
    Preset: TX-1001X-OP
    Resist: 10000
    Offset: 0

Assuming you do not have a thermocouple pit probe. If you do, then it should be set to Thermocouple, 5mv/C, offset 0.

Thank you for the reply. I thought that the probe type might have been my issue, but that wasn’t the case. It showed up correctly as a Thermistor.

I walked away from it for the afternoon/evening, and now it is back to working.... It correctly displays no pit probe and temperatures when a probe is connected.

Going to try a test cook today. I will update with the results! Thank you for your time.
