on another thread made me think about this day. It was Mother's Day 1993. A family get-together. DH and I contributed the following:
(All cooked on the grill, posting here because this thread gets more viewers. lol) (Mom loved seafood, that's why, we left it to others to bring the meat lol)

Smoked Dolphin
" Shark
" Shrimp
" Fish Stuffed Potatoes
Citrus Ribbon Dolphin
Minty Lime Grilled Dolphin
Blackened Dolphin
Grilled Dolphin
Beer Steamed Shrimp
Crab and Conch Fritters (Publix)
and also to go with:
Tangy Tarter Sauce
Pineapple Relish
Tomato/Orange Relish
Lemon Sauce
Papaya Butter
Papaya and Asian Pear Salad
Tomato Feta Salad

When Chris moved my thread, other comments must have gotten lost. I did mention that I was referring to Mahi Mahi.

Not sure what the diff is between dolphin, dolphinfish, adn mahi/mahi. Please inform ...

"Why do they call mahi mahi dolphin?
However, it's also widely known as dolphin. That's dolphin fish, not Flipper the mammal. The name “dolphin” most likely came about because of the fish's early scientific classification in the genus dolfyn. Mahi-mahi is the Hawaiian name for this fish, and the Spanish name is dorado."

DH and I used to do a lot of fishing and supplied most of it ourselves. Ahhh, the good ol' days. lol
