clay saucer size

Hi...

I have been smoking with no water in the water pan for quite a while. I would like to make cleanup even easier if possible and am going to try putting a clay saucer (foiled for easy cleanup) in the water pan as some have done and suggested.

What size have folks used? I bought both a 14" and 12". I think the 14" fits the top pretty well, but the 12" would nestle in a little better but some of the top of the water pan is still left exposed.

Size suggestions?

I used the 14 and remove the weber pan completely I turn the clay saucer upside down and cover with foil a couple layers and peel off the first layer after a cook till replacement is required. I would love to hear if there is something better out there that is even easier clean up.
