I'm new to this forum and landed here because for quite a month I own a Weber Genesis II SP-435 (almost the same as the US version of the S-435, but with cast iron crates and the GBS system).
My wife had a Q1000, so that's when I discovered the difference between Weber and regular cheap grill I used to have (and change every two years...).
So despite the fact that those grills a very pricey in Europe (double as in the US since the official Weber price tag is set at CHF 2'390.-(--> $2'400), we chose to be a really good grill! Not sure it's worth so much money, but it sure gets the work done!
So very happy with it for now!
