What worries me is that these meat recalls are for product that was sold a month or more prior. I have to believe most of the meat has already been eaten or is packed away in my freezer in a Food Saver bag with no idea of where I got it. I can include the label when I'm packaging individual steaks & roasts but not when I'm breaking down 20 lbs of 80-20 that was on sale.
 
Many times these recalls are triggered by someone (an end user) mishandling the product but out of an abundance of fear of attorneys in our country they simply recall the product(s)
 
Very small #, thats about 100 cows out of 89000 slaughtered per day in US.

Who looks at packaging? Its either eaten or vac sealed and frozen pretty quick .
