Smash burgers.

I cant seem to get my E410 hot enough for smash burgers so dug out my old silver B. Forgot how hot this grill gets and warped my heavy duty griddle pretty bad. I had to put protective glove on just to get over it. Few bites missing out of burger.

As you can see on the third image griddle warped. This is very thick steel.

So you have to sit the griddle on the flavorizer bars, Brian?

I have the Silver C, but I have never tried sitting a griddle on the bars. Then again, I don't think the griddle got that hot either.

I was setting on bars on E410 trying to get hot enough. Looks like I dont need to on silver B. I put grates back in for next time. Truthfully I like my old Silver B better than new one. I think that its just to big.
