Weber Spirit II E-310 Left Fold Down Table - Poor Design

Purchased new pre-assembled Spirit II E-310 the other day. So far, great grill. But...the left fold down table design leaves something to be desired. Moving the grill is awkward. Table disengages when trying to lift. No handles to lift the grill and roll it around. Any tips/tricks or a way to permanently fix the left table in the up position?

Without having an actual grill to look at, I would suggest looking for a way to drill a hole to insert a bolt that hold the table in the up position. But, before you do that, I would do some research as it just seems odd that they wouldn't account for that in the grill design. If you have an owners manual, I would give that a good read through. There may be a designed way to "lock" it into the up position.
