Secret Sauce for foil. For beef +++

Long story real short. I needed a rub for a beef brisket. My quick go to references were Raichlen & Weber cookbooks. One recipe for beef rub had a 2 parter-one liquid: Worcestershire sauce and part two: dry rub. That got me thinking-worcestershire is so good with beef.
Why not try Worcestershire in the foiling liquid ???
It of coarse has to be balanced with something with a sweet twang. Easy enough-good balsamic vinegar. The vinegar I used was from one of those olive oil / balsamic vinegar boutiques- $10 for 375ml

Now that is flavor town: Worcestershire & balsamic vinegar.

So the only thing lacking is a liquid providing some volume: 7UP

Secret Sauce for Foil
1 part Worcestershire sauce
2 parts good quality balsamic vinegar
7UP as needed for liquid volume---my guess is apple juice would have done well too.

Secret Sauce for Warming
1 part Worcestershire sauce
2 parts balsamic vinegar
2-3 parts No.5 Sauce

drizzle over beef, ribs or bbq prior to warming

Yum Yum, Worcestershire & Balsamic vinegar---the secret is out.

Tim, this was done without measuring. A few shakes of worcestershire, a few more shakes of balsamic....

I have to admit sopping up the sauce it was just sooooo good.
