It seems to become normal now. I was hoping that these low prices are limited to last years grills but there are a lot of sellers in my area offering new 2019 Weber grills for dumping prices.

Yah, I wonder where those grills are coming from if they are current model year grills. I would start to wonder if they are not from a "hot" batch of grills.
 
No once they sent production offshore I am sure many people like me have simply given up on them. Maybe they're realizing you can't keep fooling everyone and now trying to find a price point where they can
 
It seems localized and I was thinking that Stefan was talking about resellers of the grills, not Home Depot and Lowes and Walmarts. It just seems like a bunch of Weber grills got infused into the local area under the normal retail distro process.
 
Yeah but, many folks are seeing new ones at dumping ground prices. You would NEVER have seen this when the company was owned by the Stephens family
 
I don't understand why we would see 2019 grill's getting cleared out. Especially since the retail season for BBQs is pretty much here.
 
Yah, I dont think it is happening in the retail stores, just on the private resale market. That is why I think a big lot of them somehow got into private hands and are now being sold at rock bottom prices... I am not saying a big shipment in the Dallas area was stolen, but that might account for it.
 
Yah, it does seem weird that the 2019 ones are being sold at that price already...maybe the seller has a "buddy" at Weber corporate...?
 
Sam, that sounds like something we need to appoint a SPECIAL Counsel to investigate. :)
 
I don’t know if these are private resellers or official resellers. Some of them seem to be somekind of outlet stores.
But no matter what: OfferUp, 5miles, letgo are full of their ads. Not so much on CL or FB marketplace.
