Toggle Clamps/ DrawHaps WSM 22"??

Hi All Has any one use toggle clamps or draw hasps to prevent the middle and bottom section of a WSM 22" from coming apart..I tried with 2 3/4 draw hasps but the tension was soo great they came apart. See thread..https://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?76755-Best-Way-To-Install-WSM-latches
Thanks Dan

Ive got these

They are adjustable, so you can adjust tension.

I havent put on though. Only needed for rolling over my deck, but i dont like idea of only fastening in certain orientations. One that hooks under bottom lip would be great, but they are $7+ each. Im not cheap, but it not worth another $30-40 to me. Although i do get angry when roll it out and it dislodges.

I might just hook rubber bungees from handles to leg frame for rolling mine.

Actually there are a lot of clamps that can achieve desired quality. When I repaired my engineering machinery, I bought some toggle clamps from Amazon that my friend recommended to me. Surprisingly for me, they were adjustable at any size, so I used them a lot. In that case, you should better use these ones, because you are not really sure about the exact size of your project. Try to visit the local toggle clamp shop and consult with guys out there, so they could recommend you the better choice.
