Storing Charcoal outside?

I live in a humid area, and was always afraid to store my bag outside.

I have a location that would be covered from rain and weather.

I was thinking some plastic dog food type bin?

Anyone store outside? And what do you store in?
 
Large stacks of double bags in my garage, no problems. Over 60” of snow this winter and, it’s not over!
Four doubles in the back of the Jeep as well, come to think of it.
 
I store large amounts in my shed in NC and haven't had an issue yet. Just keep it off the ground (I use bricks under the stack) and in a covered area. I use a 5 gal bucket w/ lid on my patio for the open bag that I'm using.
 
I store my open bag out near the cookers in a Rubbermade storage cabinet along with other cooking paraphernalia. Keep it dry is key. I’ve not had any problems.
