Thinning my collection

I guess I came to the decision to thin out my weber collection. A real hard decision but it is just ridiculous for things to just take up space. Anyone else go through this heart wrenching decision ?

George, I am contemplating getting rid of about 4 of mine. I haven't committed to it yet, but I probably will.

Well,,,,, no. :( Probably should, but the trouble is, I use each and every one of them, not all the time, but they're there when I need them. If I ever had to do the drastic deed I'd pass them on to family. Trouble is, they all have their own grilling/smoking gear. I have lots of property and out buildings for storage so I guess I'll continue to hoard.

I've owned, and later sold, a Rancher, a 26", and an 18" WSM, they were all purchased used and sold for close to what I paid. Also a 22" Glen Blue. :)
My cookers now are the Performer, vintage red MT, little WSM, and a Kamado.
I need to sell my red Q 220, can't remember the last time I used it, and my Santa Maria.
My problem is, any room on the deck that I create gets more flowers by my better half. :(

Barb and I have 10 Weber grills and smokers and yes I have thought about downsizing, but like Cliff said we use them all some not nearly as often as others, but there available when I need them. Some are more sentimental than others like my 1998 genesis 1000 I bought new and my skyline that reminds me of growing up in Chicago.
I could and I should but I probably won't.

I've got tp admit the flowers look a lot better than a bunch of Weber's under their covers.

I'm planning on giving my nephew my 18.5 WSM when we retire in 5 years. He has an ECB offset that is fairly useless.
I'm also getting rid of the kettle, Genesis and one of my SJ's. The other SJ will become a mini WSM.

Sadly I need to part with my 26" kettle. Just dont use it enough since i got my 22" performer. I have too many as is. Current collection is 18" WSM , genssis gasser , 22" performer and a 26" along with a 18" smokey joe. The 26" is the only grill bought new i dont even know what the used market is on them.

I would think $175 is a fair price for a 26er in good shape. That's what I'm thinking I will take for mine.
