    Thermocouple pit probe issue

I fired up my HeaterMeter today after not using it for a few months and ran into an issue. When I get close to the set point the temperature starts to bounce +-2 degrees and this causes my roto damper to starts opening and closing continuously. It does still hold temp relatively well. I tried 2 different thermocouple probes and tried plugging it into the heater meter directly as well as into the outlets built into the roto damper with the same results.

Is there anything else I could try?

    Thanks

Try turning on the AC line noise filter at 60hz and see if that helps?
I created the Roto Damper, RD3, HMv4.2 sliding back case, "air-burner" and the "ping-pong" valve in my quest for delicious "set and forget" BBQ.

I did that and it seems to have helped. I never had the need to turn on the noise filter before I wonder what changed.

    Thanks for the advice.

Could be the outlet you are plugged into? Or different Power Supply?

Same power supply and a couple different outlets/circuits. Maybe the power supply is just crapping out.

    Thanks again
