Maybe a dumb question

but it is driving me a little crazy. I bought this older grill. It says silver on the handle. It’s a 2 burner. So I get the sense that it’s called a silver A , am I right ?

Every reference i see when im shopping for parts or accessories refers to Genesis silver A and B....never just silver A or Silver B....so what gives ? Is it the Internet ? Or is it me ? Or Weber ?

Silver A is the two burner, Silver B or C is the three burner.

As Larry says, yours is a Silver A.

It is a Genesis Silver A. For a while, Weber used the Silver, Gold and Platinum designations as a way to differentiate model levels. So there was a Genesis and also a Summit Silver, Gold and Platinum. The two-burner Genesis I believe was also earlier referred to as a “500.” Later they rebadged it as the Spirit, which made things simpler but then when the 2007 Genesis 300 series came out they also dumbed down and rebadged the original three-burner Genesis as a Spirit as well. And the confusion continues even to now. See Chris’s post about changes in the Genesis II line.
