WSM upgrades- Heeere's Johnny!!!

Worked on my upgrades for 3 weeks. All painted parts were painted with DupliColor ceramic black paint to match the original finish as closely as possible. Upgraded the charcoal grate by adding another grate to the existing and strapping it with stainless steel zip ties which will withstand temperatures in excess of 600°. Also added a gasket around the interior of the midsection where the lid rests on the upper midsection.

Really took my time with this project to ensure the original finish wasn't scratched during the upgrade work.
I used only stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers so as not to have any failure of strength due to prolonged high temperatures.

That's one impressive first post. Welcome to the asylum. Very impressive work. You have a one of a kind there. Do you customize cars?

The handles look like they are made for a WSM. Where did you find them?
