Can anyone tell me what this is? should I travel miles for a free grill?

Hello< I just found this posted 12 hours ago. It looks like it has glass doors. Maybe one is missing, I don't know. Does this need to be saved or is it a mismatch of parts.

How many miles do you have to travel? Looks like some sort of Genesis Gold from the early 2000s is my guess. I have a model similar to it.

It's a Genesis 5000.

I traveled from Mass to New York for mine. They are pretty rare and well worth a restore.
It appears to be missing the center glass door as well as the fold down shelves. It does has the serving tray on the left
but it appears to be grey instead of red.

That certainly is an interesting find. For a restore and flip, I don't think it is worth it. If you are really interested in a 5000 for personal use, then it might be worth the time, money and effort. I would think the biggest obstacle to getting it restored would be finding that missing piece of glass. The two drop down tables are missing, but at least the brackets are still there.
